Q: What does "Mugasha" mean?
A: Our name, Mugasha, comes from the combination of the words "Music Gather Share". MU-GA-SHA.
Q: Can I invite my friends to use Mugasha?
A: Definitely. Click "Invite Friends" at the top-right part of the page. You can invite people by entering their email address or by clicking the Facebook icon and selecting your Facebook friends.
Q: How can I contribute to the Aux Blog?
A: Anyone can contribute to the Mugasha Aux blog and it can easily be done right from the email client you use most. Just send an email to post@mugasha-aux.posterous.com. We will review your post, deem it acceptable and post it to the blog. You can attach or link pictures, videos, sound files, even documents to your email too, all of which will show up on the blog.
Q: How can I subscribe/unsubscribe to the Mugasha newsletter?
A: Head on over to http://mugasha.com/newsletters and hit the subscribe link located on the right column. You can also unsubscribe following the same method.

Q: I forgot my username or password. Can you help?
A: Yep, click here, enter the email address you used to register and we will send you your username and a link to reset your password.
Q: What is Facebook Connect?
A: Facebook Connect allows users to take their Facebook profile, friends, and privacy settings with them as they browse the Web. It makes sharing items with friends really easy and allows you to login into Mugasha with just one click.
Q: How do I set up Facebook Connect?
A: Click on the Facebook Connect button towards the top-right part of the page (next to your username). A box will pop up prompting you to click "Connect"...and that's it! You're all set up!

Q: How do I delete my account?
A: We're sorry to see you go, but if you want to delete your account, send an email to support@mugasha.com to let us know and we'll delete your account.

Q: Is the music on Mugasha legal?
A: Yes. We work directly with DJs to get permission to host and distribute all of the material on Mugasha.
Q: How often are new sets added to Mugasha?
A: All the time! But to be more accurate, it depends. New sets are added whenever they are released. Some DJs put out episodes every week, some are every month, some are in between.
Q: My favorite show/podcast is ___________! Can you get that show on Mugasha?
A: We are always looking to bring more great content to Mugasha! Go here and let us know about the show, or send an email to shows@mugasha.com.
Q: I'm a DJ/artist, how can I get my music/show on Mugasha?
A: Awesome, we'd love to hear from you! Send an email to shows@mugasha.com.
Q: How do I upload music to Mugasha?
A: We do not allow users to upload music to Mugasha. If you are a DJ and would like your show to be included on Mugasha, please see the Show Submission Page. If you are a fan you can suggest a show for Mugasha on the Suggest A Show Page.
Q: How can I download the music on Mugasha?
A: We provide links for most of the tracks to be purchased from iTunes, Amazon, etc. We do not allow music to be downloaded directly from Mugasha.
Q: What about adding other mp3 stores like BeatPort, AudioJelly, Juno, etc?
A: We like those stores, too. We are hoping to get deals in place with them soon to give you more buying options.
Q: How can I keep track of the latest sets being added?
A: There are multiple ways to keep track of all the latest sets. If you are on Twitter, you should follow @mugasha_sets, which is updated as soon a set is released. Another way is to attach a widget to your homepage (iGoogle, Netvibes) or desktop (Windows gadget, OSX dashboard). You can get the Mugasha widget here.
Using the Website
Q: Why can’t I play music on my browser?
A: Which browser are you using right now? Mugasha supports all browsers, except Internet Explorer 6. Also, some corporate firewalls block the port that Mugasha uses to stream music to you. Use the “Feedback” tab on the left to report a bug.
Q: Can I bookmark tracks or sets?
A: Of course! Just click the hearts to mark that you "Like" a track or set. You can view all of your "Likes" in your profile under the "Likes" tab.
Q: Can I see a history of the tracks and sets I've listened to on Mugasha?
A: Yep, you can. When you are viewing your profile, click "Play History" to see all the stuff you've been listening to.
Q: How do I find an artist or track on Mugasha?
A: To find an artist click "Artists" at the top right of the page then you can use the search box or browse by letter to find it. To find a specific track, click "Tracks" at the top-right and search or browse in the same way.
Q: How do I add tags to a set?
A: When listening to a set, you can tag it with the appropriate genre by clicking the “Tags” tab on the right hand column and typing it in. After that, hit tag and it will automatically be added to the set.
Q: Where can I view these tags?
A: When on the Brows Sets page, you can search and browse shows by sets, artists, tracks and tags. The “Tags” section produces a tag cloud showing you what the most popular sets are!
